Papiamento Restaurant is a family affair which began in 1983 when Eduardo and Lenie Ellis opened the restaurant in downtown Oranjestad. Today, Papiamento is set by a pool in a lush tropical garden adjacent to a 135-year old manor. Eduardo Jr., a European-trained head chef, personally oversees the restaurant. The pride he takes in the wonderful setting he created and his attention to detail, along with a professional friendly staff, are the unbeatable ingredients to a special dining experience.
